About Us

The Bricklayers Arms is run by Claire & Kek. Claire comes from Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire and Kek comes from Ratchaburi, Thailand where they met 8 years ago.

They have 2 young daughters Lily & Scarlet. Claire comes from a secretarial background and so the pub/restaurant trade is new to her but prior to coming to The Bricklayers Arms, Kek was Head Chef at the Bluebell Inn, Wentbridge, West Yorkshire. Kek studied catering at Wakefield college.

Kek's Thai recipes come from his grandmother who taught him to cook whilst growing up, he later worked as a cook in Koh Chang and Bangkok, Thailand. Claire & Kek look forward to welcoming you to The Bricklayers Arms.
